Sadguru -The Ocean Of Compassion

Sadguru is very kind and full of mercy .Sometimes the hard words uttered by the Sadguru also works as mercy and kindness showered on us ,because one can never know -when,why and how a Sadguru can eliminate the arrogance present in us .
It is only devotion that maintains the bond of a Guru & Shishya relationship.The thoughts of a Guru & Shishya can never be the same as the guru has been awakened in ' Truth ' while the shishya considers this illusive world to be ' true '.
With the strong support of devotion and faith of the shishya and the kindness of the guru, the shishya is able to mould himself according to the guru's thoughts .
Lord Krishna mentions in the Bhagwat Gita : " Shraddhawan labhyate gyaanam " Faith is such a divine virtue ,which conceals all our weaknesses.Compassion is the best medicine which can tolerate them ,just like a mother who tolerates each and every fault and misdoing of her child .So does the gurudev tolerate every childish action of his shishya .
A few villagers once pleaded to Raman Maharishi and took him to their village .The villagers tried their level best to welcome the Maharishi & a huge stage was built in his honour .
People were obliged by the grace of Maharishi .Raman Maharishi spoke very little and the people applauded ,clapping their hands.He immediately climbed down the stage and wept bitterly.People were astonished to see such an enlightened saint weeping.People asked ,'O Lord ! what is the matter ? why did you cry ? Raman Maharishi :'I have committed a mistake.People: 'What mistake ? The maharishi replied ,'I have definitely committed a mistake for which you have all applauded.You all live in illusion, and if people living in illusion have appreciated any of my thoughts then Iam sure I have stepped down from truth.O Lord ! please forgive me .'
Merely gaining the confidence & respect of the public is not enough to be a Mahatma .The applause from the people cannot be the criteria for the' Truth '.It cannot be measured with power ,wealth and glory.It cannot be measured with any illusive material .The greatness of Maa Anandmayi is not proved because Indira Gandhi sat in her feet ,but it was Indira Gandhi's pleasure and good luck that she visited such a great personality.It is a pleasure to know such great personalities,but there are many persons who are known by lakhs of people but are not in great position .and there are many saintly persons who are not recognised during their life time ,but are only recognised after their death.Jesus had only six followers when he was mounted on the cross,and now half of the earth's population are his followers.
Just like the adivasis will not realise the actual power of the Prime minister that his pen could change the laws of the income tax and can disturb the sleep of many rich merchants.The adivasis can only see his outward appearance .In the same manner the Sadguru appears as an ordinary person.
Paras aru sant mein ,bada antaru jaan, yah loha kanchan kare, woh kare aap samaan'
Paras stone can convert the metal Iron into Gold but cannot make it Paras itself ,but a saintly person or the Sadguru can mould his shishya into a knowledgeable person just like the Sadguru himself.
God is prepared to meet us ! Our Sadguru is capable ,then what are we waiting for ?
